Writer and Digital Content Editor
Hi there! I’m a KU grad with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Minor in Sport Management. I got my start covering KU sports for the University Daily Kansan, which led to internships with Kansas Athletics and the Kansas City Monarchs. Since then, I’ve worked in communications for Olathe Public Schools and spent two years as a Digital Content Editor with FanDuel Sports Network. I specialize in writing, editing, social media, and multimedia storytelling. Take a look at some of my work!
I managed content for three regional FanDuel Sports accounts — Kansas City, Midwest, and Indiana — as well as the website. Typically, I was assigned to one game or region per shift, but often covered multiple simultaneously. My role involved capturing key moments from pregame, in-game, and postgame broadcasts, including highlights, interviews, and fan interactions. I also created and published graphics for starting lineups, final scores, stats, and more. Below are some examples of my work!
I managed the district-level social media accounts for Olathe Public Schools, overseeing content planning, scheduling, and publishing through a social media calendar. For many stories, I attended events in person to capture photos, conduct interviews, and create graphics as needed to support the content.
